Welcome to Ordway! I am an interventionist where I support students in math and other subjects.

I have been teaching since 2007 and have been an Ordway Otter since 2015. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, a Juris Doctorate, and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education. Before entering the teaching profession, I practiced law in Seattle and New York City. During my teaching career, I was the recipient of the Excellence in Mathematics Award from the Washington State Mathematics Council and OESD and I was a nominee for the Washington State Teacher of the Year. Each year I strive to improve my practice, learning from colleagues, students and families.

I have three wonderful children, Greta, Will, and Josephine. We love to hike and camp in the summer. In my free time, I love to read, run, hike, garden, spend time with friends and family, and travel. I can't wait to learn all about you this year.
