I was born in Kathmandu, Nepal, and I moved to Los Angeles, CA when I was 15 years old. My interest in the arts led me to study Environmental Arts & Design at Otis College of Art & Design, and since 2001, I have worked professionally as a designer. Later, I pursued my love for teaching and earned a degree in education at Western Washington University.

Today, I live on Bainbridge Island with my husband and our two boys. I absolutely love living here, surrounded by nature and a community that supports the arts and education. Teaching art and exploring creativity with my students is just a dream come true, and I look forward to collaborating and creating art together.
