Bookfair begins tomorrow!

Ordway is collecting new unwrapped toys for the Annual Toys for Tots Toy drive. Please bring your donation to the Ordway office through December 13th.

Please send any gently used or new children’s books to the Ordway Library. We need hardcover or paperback novels; fiction, non-fiction, and picture books. The 4th-grade student council will wrap up all the books and conduct a whole school Mystery Book Exchange in December. This project is student-led and they are excited to start wrapping the books. This is a great time to clean bookshelves and ask neighbors and friends for books. We will need close to 400 children’s books. Thank you for your support!

Bainbridge Island winter mornings and evenings are dark (and often rainy), making it difficult for drivers to see students walking or riding bikes. Before your student leaves for the day, please be sure they have the proper equipement to make them as visible as possible. For additional information, please review the tips on the Washington State Department of Transportation website. 

Lost and Found will be donated on 12/20.

Please come and check the rack. We comb the rack weekly for items with names - these all do not have names! Come take a look.
