Picture Day - September 29

Ordway's Picture Day is scheduled for Tuesday September 29th. Information on how to order school pictures is found HERE.  Picture Retake Day is October 20. 

Students go with their class to have their picture taken. These pictures are used for their Skyward files and also our yearbook. No hats or props for the picture. Josten's recommends children do not wear green as it interferes with the green screen technology used.

Fall Referral Window: September 21–October 9, 2026

BISD’s Highly Capable (HC) referrals are welcome during our fall window for students new to our district (since February 19, 2026) in grades 1–11. (Referrals for Kindergarten and currently enrolled BISD students will open during our spring window.)

If you’d like your student considered for HC services, please visit our BISD Highly Capable page for the timeline, program details, and the referral form.

Previously in HC/Gifted elsewhere?
Please complete the BISD referral and email documentation (e.g., assessment scores, grades, placement letters) to Drew Crandall at dcrandall@bisd303.org.

Deadline: Submit the referral (and any supporting documents, if applicable) by end of day Friday, October 9, 2026.

Otter Trot 2026!

PTO's first week of fundraising has brought in over $8,000 - 11% of our Otter Trot goal! Visit the link to our Info Night presentation for more info about Otter Trot, our annual "Move-a-Thon" fundraiser. Students can earn donations to win prizes and parties for their class and teacher! We are asking each student to set a goal of $250 but any donation amount is appreciated! See below for a link to donate and a link to an Otter Trot Fundraiser Flyer your student can print or forward to friends, family, and neighbors!
All students who earn $1 or more will be entered into a weekly raffle for a special prize so get those pledges in!

Bainbridge Schools Foundation

Strong schools are built together! Bainbridge Schools Foundation (BSF) works alongside BISD and our school PTOs to help ensure every student has access to an excellent public education. While PTOs build community and enrich the experience at individual schools, BSF raises funds for critical district wide staff and programs serving students across all seven BISD schools, including academic intervention, educator support and professional development, and library resources. New this year, students are in school for full days Monday through Friday. We will have one full-day or half-day release, roughly once a month, on a Monday. Here are rest of the the September Mondays:
  • Monday, September 21 — Full school day.
  • Monday, September 28 — Our first professional development day. No school for students.
