Principal's Note
Dear Ordway Families,

Sincere appreciation for everyone’s patience as we await the end of the construction and enjoy the final phase - new pavement on Madison Avenue due to start this week sometime! We have NOT tallied tardies during this project as it is unpredictable when traffic backs up and you find yourself in a lengthy line of cars - staff included.

Our second month of school includes fourth graders from Student Council starting to make morning announcements with me. October’s focus is sharing with children the meaning of Responsibility from our Character Strong SEL curriculum. Future monthly themes include Courage, Honesty, Empathy, Cooperation, etc. As part of our SEL emphasis, be sure to ask your child to explain Ordway 3 Be’s - Be Kind, Be Safe, and Be Positive!

Best,
Debra
