Ordway Counselor - Changing Families Group

Ordway students whose families are experiencing or have experienced separation, divorce, or remarriage may find that these family changes generate strong feelings that interfere with schoolwork, social adjustment, and friendships. While some children experience sadness, it is also common for students to withdraw or act out in anger.
It is often helpful for students to meet with other children experiencing similar feelings and talk with someone who is not emotionally involved in the family changes. Ordway Counselor Janette Dodge will be offering groups for students in first through fourth grade. These groups will meet once a week for six weeks during lunchtime and will begin the first week of March.
If you are interested in having your child participate in one of these groups, or if you have any questions, please call or email Janette Dodge at 780-1455 or jdodge@bisd303.org
by February 27.
