Hello!

I have been teaching on Bainbridge Island since 2007. I have worked at all the elementary schools. I love working with first graders and seeing them grow throughout the year!

I am originally from South Dakota, but went to college in Minnesota. I did some teaching overseas in Pakistan and in the Peace Corps in Namibia.

I have lived on the island since 2006. My husband Ian, is an islander. We have one son, Elliot. We enjoy traveling.

We have a Newfoundland dog, Stormy, and a cat named Bali. My class will hear a lot about my pets. We will have fun talking about our real pets and stuffed pets this year.
