PRINCIPALS NOTE

Dear Ordway Families,

As we recognize teachers across the country this week, I can attest that our Ordway teachers are exemplary! Our faculty, in fact, is the strongest with whom I have worked with regard to expertise of both child development and current educational practices. I am often awestruck - whether due to an incredible insight about a child or a thoughtful outreach to a parent or colleague - our faculty’s deepest cultural norm is respectful caring regard for all. It has been the honor and privilege of my career to be serving as Ordway’s principal. Please join me in sharing love and appreciation to our outstanding Ordway faculty.

Best,
Debra

ABC PROCESS AND REGISTRATION

It's time to do the ABCs for all students returning to BISD for the 2024-25 school year!

Our Annual Back-to-school Check-in (ABC) process lets us know that your student(s) are returning to our schools for 2024-25 and allows parents/guardians to review annual information.

The ABCs must be completed* for all students attending BISD schools in 2024-25 — this includes both new and returning students.  Access the ABCs by logging into your Family Access account. It should take about 15 minutes (or less!) to complete.

If you need assistance with the ABC process (such as translation, accessing technology, or other questions), please contact Sarah Dunstan Ordway Office Manager. sdunstan@bisd303.org.

If you have an incoming Kindergartener - now is the time to register. Knowing you have a child to register helps us plan for next fall.

*Class placement/class schedules will not be released in August until the ABCs are completed. But why delay? Go ahead and take care of it today!
